The M4V file format is a video container format developed by Apple and is very similar to the MP4 format. The primary difference is that M4V files may optionally be protected by DRM copy protection. Apple uses M4V to encode video files in its iTunes Store. Videos in M4V format can be protected from being used for commercial purposes. But M4V cannot be opened in some device, so sometimes you have to convert M4V to MP4.
Filmage Screen offers you a easy way to convert M4V to MP4:
1. Open Filmage Screen; 2. Cilck Video Converter -> Choose the file for conversion from local folder or by drading; 3. Click Edit -> Click Video -> Choose MP4 and select different kbps with different quality;
4. Choose Where to save the converted file -> Click Convert.
5. You can also convert M4V to other formats as you want by following the same steps.
